Refund Policy

 

I really want you to love your breastmilk jewellery and for it to last you a lifetime, if something should happen to your jewellery always feel free to contact me to see if I can help and I will do my best, however note the following policy applies to refunds and exchanges.

 

Due to the bespoke nature of the products and the fact they contain inclusions of your breastmilk no refunds or exchanges will be accepted for change of mind, delay or where damage has been caused by failure to follow proper aftercare.

 

Orders can be changed up until the point that your milk is received and preserved, once this has happened no amendments to the order may be made.

 

If your jewellery arrives damaged, broken or you believe there to be a fault this must be reported to myself within 7 days of receipt of the product and photos of the issue submitted to myself. Should no such report be made the jewellery will be deemed to be as ordered with no issues. Please note, I photograph all jewellery before posting.

 

Each piece of jewellery is made using your breastmilk and breastmilk varies from woman to woman and also at different points on your feeding journey. Please note, therefore, that the final colour and appearance of your jewellery may vary from that shown in the pictures and this does not consitute a fault. Please note also due to the nature of resin and fluctuations in temperature some small bubbles may also be present in the final piece and this also does not equate to a faulty product.

The resin I use is considered UV stable and high quality, however resin and breastmilk may discolour over time. This discolouration, should it happen, will be gradual. This is not preventable and to avoid this proper aftercare should be followed. I can not guarantee whether your jewellery will or will not discolour, nor can I say how long it will take for this to happen. If your jewellery discolours suddenly in the first 6 months, please contact me to discuss this. 

 

Please note that in the case of ‘The Ring’ that you are responsible for choosing the correct size, no refunds or exchanges will be possible due to incorrect sizing.

 

No refunds or exchanges will also be given for wear and tear, improper use or neglect of aftercare. It is up to you to care for your jewellery once received and any wear such as tarnishing of the silver, plating wearing off the bead cores or the necklace chain or jump ring breaking are not the responsibility of Boobie Jewels. If you believe there is a fault with the integrity of the jewellery itself please contact me to discuss providing photos of the issue.

 

Though every effort is made to ensure breastmilk stones are secure in the settings, as with all jewellery there is always a small risk of the stone becoming loose or lost. If this happens please contact me to discuss if I can re-make/re-set the stone for you. To best avoid this happening, avoid hard knocks to your jewellery and extreme temperatures.

If your jewellery should unfortunately become damaged accidentally I may be able to repair it, please contact me to discuss. For example, if you were to scratch the breastmilk stone I can potentially re-top this with resin. In this instance, you are responsible for associated postage costs and a small fee will be charged for the repair.

Gift Cards - unfortunately no refunds can be issued against gift card purchases.
